Well, tis' been a while since I continued the tale of the $500 Corvette.  I replaced the intake manifold, installed an EGR valve, ran the correct vacume lines.  That's all, still not really drivable.  But some progress is better than no progress!

New interior. Carpet, heat shield, visors, headliners, soundproofing, floor mats, and rear compartments.

Gave it a wash and wax today, looks pretty good for 34 years old.

No difference

Well, replaced my old non-working door and glove box locks with new, working ones. Looks not a whit different, so I'm not putting up a photo!

Still a long way to go, but it's starting to look good!

Replaced the mirror on the passenger side...

Polished factory aluminum wheels.

Ohhhh, shiny! I found the rims cheap, and had them polished and painted. With the new tires it looks pretty good!

First cosmetic repair.

It said 'corve' when I bought it. Now it proudly says corvette!
