No difference
Well, replaced my old non-working door and glove box locks with new, working ones. Looks not a whit different, so I'm not putting up a photo!

Pictures of the first couple days
In the beginning...
I flew to Oakland and bought a car. Not just any car, a 1978 Corvette. The year of the Silver Anniversary. A red Corvette. For $500. That's right, $500.

Now before I could do anything with it, I had to have it towed to Midas. New starter, battery; brake lines, rotors, calipers, master cylinder; exhaust, mufflers and misc. welds; plugs and wires.
Pay $674 in back registration fees.
Now, it still has a few minor issues.
Air Conditioning missing compressor.
Oil pressure gauge doesn't work.
Clock doesn't work.
Tach doesn't work.
Speedo works, but reads 25% faster than you are actually going.
Runs hot.
All weatherstripping needs replaced.
Windows misaligned.
Fuel gauge works, and seems to be accurate, but low fuel light stays on at all times.
Gen light stays on.
High beams don't work.
Horn doesn't work.
Dome light missing.
A few signal lights seem to be missing or broken.
3 rear hatches missing hinges, just laying over openings.
Visors missing.
T-Top lining missing, fasteners messed up on tops.
Strange jerky-ness in rear when in reverse. Sometime forwards.
Every joint in front end needs replaced.
Passenger side mirror needs replaced.
Need keys for door, glove box.
Corvette logo on rear broken.
That's what I found on day one driving it. Will keep you posted!
